Are eyelash extensions safe?

Yes! We use only medical grade adhesive and sterile lash extensions and tools. Your eyelash extensions shed naturally as your natural lashes proceed through their lifecycle. Eyelash extensions do not impede or alter the pace of this process.

How long will my extensions last?

You can expect your lash extensions to last approximately two weeks or longer with conscientious maintenance and care. The more practiced you become at following aftercare instructions, the longer you can expect your lash extensions to last.

Will eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?

No, properly applied eyelash extension will not damage your natural lashes. Each extension is naturally shed as your eyelashes proceed through their natural lifecycle. As you generally lose one natural lash a day, you will tend to lose one lash extension a day as well. It may seem that you are losing more lashes than you usually do, but this is simply because the loss of a lash with an extension attached is much more likely to be noticed than the loss of a natural lash alone.

How many lash extensions will you apply?

We will work to put as many lash extension on as possible in your appointment time! This averages between 40 and 70 extensions per eye, but the number of natural eye lashes varies by ethnicity.

Can I wear makeup with my eyelash extensions?

Yes, most makeup is completely safe to use with your lash extensions. The use of commercial mascara, however, is not recommended as ingredients like glycol will weaken the adhesive bond and decrease the life of your lash extensions.

Can people with sensitive eyes have eyelash extensions?

Yes! While our standard medical-grade adhesive is generally fine for most clients, if you are worried about irritation we also offer an adhesive specially formulated for sensitive eyes. Our sensitive eyes adhesive is also medical-grade and is 100% fume free.

Who is a candidate for eyelash extensions?

Anyone with at least some natural lashes and healthy eyes is able to have lash extensions.

How do I make my eyelash extensions last as long as possible?

Following the aftercare instructions is the most important thing you can do to prolong the life of your extensions. In particular, avoid rubbing your eyes, wearing commercial mascara containing glycol and getting your eyelash extensions wet during the first 24 hours after your procedure.

How customizable are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are very customizable, and can make a dramatic statement or serve to enhance your natural lashes. While not all natural lash types can support the most dramatic extension lengths, our primary goal is that you leave the salon happy with your appearance! Consequently, our lash technicians work very hard to achieve your desired style.

Is the procedure uncomfortable?

Your comfort, satisfaction and safety are very important to us! Our treatment beds are plush and you will barely be able to feel the application of your lashes. Our technicians will take utmost care to meet any specific needs you may have.

Will I be able to feel that I am wearing eyelash extensions?

We find that very little adjustment is necessary before your lash extensions feel as natural as your own!

Can you get eyelash extensions wet?

After the first 24 hours, it is safe to get your eyelash extensions wet. Frequent participation in activities like swimming, steam rooms, saunas and hot yoga may decrease the lifespan of your lash extensions.
